This one owner F100 lived its entire life in Bakersfield, California, and was owned by the Halle family. I bought this from Dave Halle, whose family has been involved in racing for generations.
This truck, in its original 6 cylinder form, was used as a push truck for their race cars at Bakersfield and also at Bonneville. This truck has memorial decals from those old race meetings. Dave just recently completed a full resto mod on the F100 with new 454 Big Block Chevy, Comp Cam, Rectangular Port Heads. This motor has a ton of torque, accelerates effortlessly, just beautiful to drive. New 700R 4 speed automatic transmission. mileage time. Rear end is a Currie LSD 9 inch unit running 3.78 ratio which makes for a wonderful highway cruising truck.
TCI Mustang Front End with 4 wheel Disc Brakes all the way around. Full Chrome Tilt Steering Column, and a beautiful turned dash. The exhaust system is completely new and has an electric cut-out valves, so you can open the pipes and bypass the mufflers at the touch of a button. Sounds like race car when you do that.
New upholstery is a very traditional & Black & White Tuck and Roll with pleated inserts and door panels to match. Headliner is smooth and perfect to match.
This F100 was just recently built to be kept, just beautiful inside and out, new satin red paint with some minor areas that have been sanded to reveal original paint, a really nice touch. Firestone 16s all the way around - 890s in the rear and 600s in the front. Truck drives smooth and straight like a modern car. New Vintage Air conditioning blows ice cold. Bed wood is new Oak with Stainless steel strips and all stainless steel hardware throughout. Tilt Hood.
