This stunning convertible is in beautiful condition and has always been fastidiously maintained with records dating back to the 60s. The car has had one repaint and is finished in its factory colour of Turquoise Mist. The paintwork is in excellent condition as is the chrome work,The front and rear bumpers have been re-chromed and are flawless.The beautiful black interior is original and is also in excellent condition and has the original Buick rubber floor mats front and rear covering the black carpet. This is the custom interior option which was the top of the line and includes the beautiful brushed stainless trims on the doors that can be seen in the photos. Arial,Helvetica,sans I have all the import approval papers together with a file full of receipts and documents dating back to the 60s.This Wildcat has always been garaged and pampered. A new factory correct Dual Exhaust system has been fitted. Tyres are near new and a new convertible top and cover have been fitted. Mechanically the car has been ultra reliable. The 401 Nailhead V8 is in excellent condition as is the Switch Pitch Turbo 400 transmission and Positraction Diff. The factory carby was re-built soon after arriving in Australia and the performance from this big Cat is amazing. The Buick chrome rally wheels are the correct style for this year Wildcat and the rare 1965 centre caps are perfect. As the photos show, the condition of the engine bay matches the rest of the car as does the boot (Trunk). It also comes with its original Build Sheet and Protect-O-Plate. If you are looking for a convertible that is ready to drive and enjoy then this one will not disappoint. Presently registered on club plates which are not transferable.
