Car has been built so that it can sit in peak hr traffic and run a decent time at drags.
All rear end and engine conversions done by a professional in Kirrawee, GT Sport Cars, the engine was done by Autotech Engineering in Granville and interior and sound by Doran Pro Audio in Bankstown.
Gearbox fully rebuilt and changed to manual
ENGINE/RUNNING GEAR:
-Crate 97 Chev LT1 fuel injected roller engine with alloy heads. This is the engine Corvette and Pontiac used before the LS1's, purchased new in 2002 when I decided to do all the work to it...
-It has been rebuilt and stroked to a 383ci with 4 bolt mains, low compression forged pistons, all the good gear inside, bigger injectors 58mm throttle body. Makes 398kW at the wheels and can handle a lot more with a different ignition.
-EMS computer
-T-trim Vortech blower intercooled with 12psi of boost
-Turbo 350 gearbox
-Custom 2.5 inch headers into twin 4 inch exhuast, has a great low note and is not loud and crazy
-Ford 9 inch LSD diff with posi traction centre and 3:55 gears
-4 link adjustable rear end.
-Wheels are Centreline 15x8 and 15x15, only bought new at the end of last year with Maxxis on the front and Mickey Thompson sportman on the rear, still with tread as new.
INTERIOR/SOUND
-Bucket seats out of a Honda I think, with custom leatherette interior all round.
-Kenwood bluetooth headset with hands free..
-Splits in the doors and 6x9s in the rear..
There are a few little niggly things that need fixing, but all the important parts are near new and for a small amount this car would be at home at a show or a drag...
