This Australian-delivered 1994 Mercedes-Benz E220 ‘Special Edition’ is finished in elegant Imperial Red (paint code 582) with a Cream soft leather interior (trim code 265), beautifully complemented by Zebrano timber trim throughout the cabin. It was delivered new by Mercedes-Benz of Sydney in August 1994 and serviced exclusively by them up to 1999. The car has had just two owners from new – the second, a meticulous lady owner, has cherished it since 2000. Importantly, it has travelled a genuine 106,944 kilometres from new, verified by its original service documentation.
The E220 is powered by Mercedes-Benz’s refined 2.2-litre DOHC 16-valve 4-cylinder engine, developing 110kW of power and 210Nm of torque, driving through a smooth 4-speed automatic transmission. The ‘Special Edition’ was produced to mark the end of W124 production and was fitted with a number of desirable features, including:
