Sharp Dressed, Man
Finished in metallic Gunmetal Grey, this restored 1977 LX Torana hatch cuts a sleek, serious silhouette. She rides on a fresh set of 17-inch OS Formula Hotwire wheels wrapped in brand-new rubber. The stance lets you know she’s not stock, while the wheelarch flares capture that desirable A9X look.

Front and rear spoilers keep the theme going, with SS badges adding to her style. Chrome bumpers keep a connection to the ‘70s and reinforce that unmistakable Torana attitude.
The subdued style continues inside, with a factory rear bench seat and front seats trimmed in black vinyl. The front buckets are aftermarket, but look right at home alongside the genuine dash and door trims.
There’s an SS steering wheel and authentic LX Torana gauge cluster, with a T-bar shifter sitting in the clean centre console. A Pioneer stereo and speakers have been fitted, ready to lay down your favourite cruising soundtrack.

She’s Got Legs
Under the bonnet, this Torana’s running an all-Aussie driveline, with a 308ci (5.0-litre) Holden V8, Tri-matic three-speed auto and original Banjo diff. Power-assisted front brakes have had fresh discs fitted, while the factory suspension has been fully rebuilt to keep her feeling right on the road without losing that raw edge.
With a strong stance, tight lines and a big V8 heartbeat, this neat Torana hatch has classic DNA and modern punch. There’s nothing messy about her!
