1928 Ford Model A Traditional Roadster I bought this off a gentleman in the USA that was building it for T.R.O.G. I bought it before it was finished and built it to what you see here. This car has been on the road for around 8 years. This car is a lot fun and I've put a ton of miles on but it's time to move it on. ENGINE AND COOLING (less than 1000 km on engine and box). Rebuild mild 8BA. The rebuild was a complete teardown (not just a set of rings) Lightened flywheel Big cam (Sounds rad) Twin Holley 94's. These are original 94's that have been completely rebuilt New PowerGen New water pumps Rebuilt fuel pump New radiator from D&D New cloth leads and plugs PowerMaster starter motor GEARBOX. Rebuilt 39 Trans New clutch and throwout bearing BRAKES AND REAR END. Juice brakes (always maintained and working great) 37-41 (Not sure of the ratio) WHEELS AND TYRES *** Fronts - Powder coated 17's with Firestone whitewalls (these have been flipped and painted to hide the whitewall) Rears - Powder coated 16's with 8.50's BODY ****** Rough and rattly but solid BLC Headlights Original 32 grill Original 32 dash grafted on many many years ago. Good dry body but with old patches throughout. Sills have rust and something you might want to replace. The floors are really good and mostly rust free apart from some pin holes here and there. There is surface rust on the car but no major repairs required. Doors are rust free with some old repairs and only surface rust MISCELLANEOUS I rewired the whole car about 4 yeas ago. Everything works. Headlights, tail light and brake light. Moon style fuel tank and filter This is a proven reliable car that requires nothing mechanically and some body work if you wanted to. One thing I never got around to doing was replacing the perspex windscreen for a glass one. Comes with a good battery but not the one pictured. Drives, stops and goes great!
