Seller's Description
This 1936 all steel Ford pickup was imported from the USA and meticulously build here in Australia. This beautifully finished pick-up is powered by a V6 Holden engine with a Turbo 700 transmission and is completely proven with great handling and reliability. The leaf spring rear end incorporates a diff from a 1959 Chevrolet Impala while the coil spring front end is from a HT Holden. The car has Ford stud pattern all round and has 15 x 8 rear and 15 x 7 steel wheels. The front brakes are Ford BA rotors and calipers with the booster and master cylinder being VY Commodore. The steering is Suzuki Vitara rack and pinion with a Flaming River column. The fully boxed chassis has been refinished with POR15. The drop tank holds 83 litres of fuel. All the chrome and glass is new and the panel and two pack black paint is stunning. The lights are halogen 34 Ford Commercial. The windows are manual and the under dash air conditioning works really well. The opening windscreen provides flow through ventilation. Two speed electric wipers and thermostatically controlled thermo fan. This vehicle is finished to a high quality standard and any inspection is guaranteed to impress. The interior is re-trimmed in vinyl with Ford Courier front seats. This gorgeous pick up is engineered and registered in Queensland on full registration. This vehicle is consigned with us and is currently in the care of it's owner in Bridgeman Downs. Inspections are by appointment only. The advertised price does not include Government charges for transfer of registration. Street Rod. Hot Rod. Truck. Hauler. American. Cool. Cruiser. Custom. Old school.
