Seller's Description
This is an example of the largest Morris car of the era. This is an Australian bodied car, built by Ruskin Motor Bodies, formerly of Dudley Street West Melbourne. At the time, chassis's including the motor, running gear, etc., were imported, with the bodies being built here to minimise taxes. This is a true basket case!! The installed motor is apparently a Humber motor and gearbox. There is a M25 gearbox and the correct M25 3.5 litre 6 cyclinder motor with it - they are also disassembled. The pictures of the complete car is what it looked like before it was taken apart. Being an Australian bodied M25, it has a proper boot lid, unlike the British bodied version which didn't. The doors have been assembled, painted, with trim. The carby has been overhauled. Wheel cyclinders appear to have been SS sleeved, as they have absolutely no internal rust. There are other spares to go with it (see pic), including 5 restored wheels (in addition to those on the car), a diff centre (no pinion), a complete front axle with brakes, a front axle, diff housings, steering box, etc.. Seats are good enough for their panels to be used as templates for reupholstering. The whole package would be ideal for a current Morris 25 owner (or owners) as a source of spares, as a project for an enthusiast, or as a rat rod or hot rod.
