-52,600 Miles showing on odometer
-Factory release LHD
-A rarity in this condition
-An exclusive buy to the wealthy Czechoslovakians
-Import approval
A time capsule of a high design back in the day is the 1950 Tatra 600 ‘Tatraplan’. Sought after for its luxury at the time, it was both expensive and exclusive to the wealthiest Czechoslovakians.
With its unusual exterior and drivetrain layout, it remained highly sought after and even with limited production is still highly desirable today. The Tatra 600 was the predecessor of the 603 model - released as a V8. Its believed that only 6350 ‘T-600’ examples were manufactured and sold. This example reads a low 52,600 miles on the odometer showing a long life ahead of it.
Its featured with a ‘Fiat 4-cylinder’ 1.2L engine block and is powered by its 4-speed manual transmission. Its engine was placed in the rear and allowed for an impressive 52BHP at 4000 RPM giving it a top speed of 80MPH. From the release of the Tatra 97 and -its predecessor, this Tatra 600 proved superior in all ways.
Its streamlined fastback saloon body seated 6 and was released with the factory optioned ‘suicide doors’. This example was an advocate for all high class aero-dynamic automobiles.
Appearing in silver, this stunning vehicle has been well maintained and presents nothing short of immaculate. The interior trim offers a unique design red cloth trim that sets beautifully over a faultless grey carpet floorplan. Its cream dish rim and red highlight front bumper are factored to its luxurious design.
An example in such high-grade condition is an investment to a collector and would make a sound addition to any collection.
