1955 holden fj standard panel van
Seller's Description
Up for sale is one very cool little 1955 fj Holden panel van with a 1970’s van culture history. Last Victorian rego label on the van is from 1979 and still has body id plate attached. Van has had the popular in the day hq taillight graft, chrome dash and various paint jobs. The body on the van is quite good for a fj panelvan being very straight and rust free around the roof, gutters and roof seams. The rear wheel wells are very nice as are the rear quarter panels when you look through the rear cargo area at the back of them. The chassis rails are good as is the rear sub frame. The rear tail gate upper and lower are good as is the spare wheel area. The worst part of the body is the sills and lower quarters in front of the rear wheels as they are rusted out due to having 30plus years of tree litter stacked up to them. The drivers floor has seen better days as it has some rust and 1970’s cuts and alterations. The front guards and bonnet are also good. Van comes with a heap of spare parts there is no engine or trans and missing some of the flat glass for the windows. Most things for the van are there. Will make a great worthwhile project as fj vans that are restorable are hard to find. Van is located in Carlsruhe Victoria just off the Calder fwy.
