1957 chevrolet bel-air sports coupe

This is the 1957 Chev to have, Genuine factory Belair 2 door pillarless V8. It is in nice clean survivor condition. It was built and has lived all its life in the dry inland California climate up until 6 months ago when we imported it. The body is in very good condition rust wise. The panels are all original to the car, and are straight and rust free. The doors open and close nicely with good gaps. The floors have never had a patch in them and are rust free,see the pics taken prior to us installing the new carpet. There is one small spot of rust in the inner rocker panel about the size of a match box other wise underneath is rust free and patch free. The underside body mounts are all in rust free condition. The car is running a 283 v8 with an alloy inlet manifold and a 600 holley. The gearbox is a TH350 There is a new battery fitted. The interior is in usable original condition however there is some wear and marks and splits. We have installed new carpet and inner door scuff plates. We have overhauled the brakes ,installing a dual circuit master cylinder and booster and lines. The wheels were fitted with new brake shoes and wheel cylinders all round. The bumpers and nice and straight but the chrome is showing some age here and there, Electrical wise all the lights work.Horn works,The wipers work.The blower motor we have but is needing a rebuild/replacing. The previous owner fitted new tyres fitted all round. In the boot area, the floor is in vgc but has had a fiberglass repair in the rear roll pan section where they tend to rust. We have fitted a new boot floor mat. The glass allround is in vgc with no cracks or deep scratches. The stainless moulds are all in clean straight condition. On hoist inspection available and invited. Finance available through an independant broker. This car comes with all Australian Import approval papers required for registration purposes. Currently unregistered. No previous registration in Australia.
