Just arrived - This 1960 Holden FB Special Sedan is a little out of the ordinary. Originally a 2.3L (138ci) 6-cylinder, it is now driven by an upgraded 3.2L (202ci) 6-cylinder. This is no standard engine either. It has been bored out by .60`` and is fitted with ACL flat top pistons, Starfire rods, a 465 Holley carburettor, 9-port Yella Terra stage 3 head, roller rockers, a Heatseeker stage 5 camshaft, pacemaker headers, and a 2.5`` exhaust. This is paired with a rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission with straight-cut gears, a Hurst Competition 4 shifter, an extreme clutch and a lightened Yella Terra flywheel. Underneath the car sits a Banjo LSD 3:55 differential, new brakes, bushes, rubbers, front and rear sway bars, an HR disc brake front end, and all new steering components including tie rods and steering arms. The FB has Lovell lowered springs in the front and Monroe shocks all around. Finished in the stunning black and silver combination with lovely chrome work, the FB looks as great as it sounds. It sits on a set of 14x7 Dragway spats and comes with a small file documenting work that has gone into building this wonderful creation. Eligible for historic registration, join your local car club and enjoy minimal on-road costs. This is a fantastic example for those wanting a unique FB with a bit more power.
