This car is an Australian-produced vehicle, with approximately 1,441 Studebakers being produced in Australia in 1963; it is a rather rare vehicle. It is powered by a 4.2L (259ci) V8 engine and equipped with a 2-speed automatic transmission, making it a wonderful weekend cruiser. The Cruiser model was designed with interior comfort in mind, featuring an upgraded interior, a 60s-style roofline, and vent windows in the rear doors. This is a tidy older restoration that still presents well for the age. The current owner has fitted some upgrades, including new Lukey mufflers, a new NOS Studebaker Corp. dash gauge, custom 'Lark' seat covers, JVC speakers, hidden Bluetooth audio, and an electric under-dash heater. The Cruiser is also fitted with new BCI wheels; however, the original steel wheels and chrome hubcaps are available within the purchase, along with the rear wheel spats for those who appreciate originality. Additionally, the rights to the plate 'STU259' are available with the car. This is a very neat and tidy vehicle that would make a wonderful club car, with plenty of room for the whole family.
