This left hand drive 1963 split screen Kombi has been restored into a super cool coastal cruiser. The car was originally purchased over 13 years ago from New Mexico and imported into Australia, where it undertook a full restoration. The body was completely stripped and repaired, and has been repainted in its two tone off white over sea blue colour scheme. Completing the look externally is a set of genuine Fuchs Porsche wheels. The interior has also had a full make over, seats 9 with engineered seatbelts added along with a Retrosounds Bluetooth stereo. Powering the bus is a 1910cc flat four cyl air cooled engine. The engine features new alternator and starter motor along with a dual Kadron carburettor set up. An aftermarket stainless exhaust peaks it way out under the back and gives it a cool sound. After owning it for the last 3 years and getting it registered in SA, it’s regrettable sale due to our proposed business not going ahead, this cool cruiser is registered and ready to make memories.
