Reason for selling is I need to fund a new car project. Sell one to buy one.
The car has been a complete local car to our area of Albury/Wodonga. The original owners manual has the sale information from 1966 in Albury.
BODY:
99% rust free, the only rust in the entire vehicle is some surface rust the size of a 50cent piece just above the rear guard, from where the spat butted up against the body.
The car has been resprayed at some point in its life, almost true to the original colour. I have heavily cut and polished it to bring it to life, which it has.
ENGINE:
The170 Pursuit is still as strong as an ox. I have ran a new carby gasket kit through it and since then has never missed a beat. All is very original in the engine bay besides the previous owners fitting a water bottle for the windscreen wipers and a booster for the drum brakes.When I first purchased the car, I replaced the core of the radiator and had the engine flushed since then. Fitted a thermo fan and has never over heated.
Engine, Gear Box and Diff oil are all fresh and clean.
INTERIOR: As new!! one slight split in the drivers side seat. Dash, Steering Wheel, Floor, Roof Lining is all in mint condition. All dash lights, and interior lights work.
OTHER NEW PARTS:
FRONT END - New springs, shocks and spring saddles from Pedders. New brake cyclnders(brake shoes are perfect). Bottom Ball joints fitted at Pedders.
REAR END - new old stock shocks. Fitted 2 1/1 inch lowering blocks.
All the parts I have replaced I have kept....
FRONT DOORS - New seals both sides.
The car will come with Rego till Nov 2012. Can negoiate an RWC. Rear spats and chrome dress rims for all 4 wheels will also come with the car(just not pictured) I have all receipts for everything that has been replaced. And a stock pile of photographs.
