This Holden HD special station wagon has been with the original owner since new and has always been garaged and well maintained. It was ordered new in 1965 from Reg Hunt Motors in Elstenwick with the rare power boosted disc brake option which is combined with ball joint front suspension.It was also ordered with radial tyres making this vehicle quite unique but also very nice to drive.All the original papers are still in the Reg Hunt Motors wallet in the glovebox and the cigarette lighter and ash tray have never been used!The original diamond dot radio still works perfectly as does everything else on this one owner original wagon.The plastic chrome on the dash is in perfect condition as most of the interior is except for a small crack in the dash pad and some wear on the original floor mat under the pedals....not too bad for 48 years. The exterior is very good original paint work with a couple of small touch ups over the years.There are a couple of small rust spots at the bottom of the front guard and at the bottom of the tailgate.....again not bad for 48 years old. All the chrome and glass are excellent as are all the other fittings.The engine,gearbox,clutch etc. are all in perfect working order as are the brakes which the calipers have recently have been overhauled.This classic Holden could be driven interstate tomorrow....it's ready to enjoy. It is fitted with the factory heater for winter and has been fitted with a period classic underdash air conditioner for summer comfort.Selling regretfully only because of health issues as it's been part of the family since 1965.........It will be sold with a RWC and has reg. till July 2014.................Ph 0402 229959.....Ian.
