Just arrived - This 1966 Holden HR Special Wagon is special indeed. Built in Sydney as a Grecian White Special wagon with a Dawson and Alaskan Aqua interior, the HR has since had a full rebuild which was finished in 2022. The 186 motor has been bored out and fitted with a 215 Waggott solid lifter camshaft, ported polished heads, and bigger valves. Both carburettors have been rebuilt and the manifold has been upgraded with a twin extractor system and stainless steel mufflers. The transmission has been swapped to a HG all synchro 3 speed floor shift manual with a Hurst shifter and new clutch, a reconditioned 33.6 differential, front end rebuilt, and all brakes are new with 14`` HK discs The HR has recieved extensive cermaic coating and chrome work, all new window rubbers, as well as a new glossy black paint job and Dragalite wheels that has it looking sleek and beautiful. The interior is all custom with HQ arm rests and a rare HR Premier Lie-back bench seat. It has been fitted with new seatbelts and Alpine stereo and speakers to bring everything together.
