Originally a 221ci (3.3L) 6-cyl with a 3-speed 'Cruisomatic' automatic transmission, the XW is now equipped with a 351ci (5.8L) 'Cleveland' V8 and a 3-speed automatic. The factory Polar White has been resprayed in a brilliant electric blue, which is accented by a tidy black interior. The XW presents well for the age, though it is certainly not new, but makes for a very neat weekend cruiser. Eligible for historic registration, join one of the many Ford clubs and enjoy minimal on-road costs and a community of like-minded enthusiasts.
