1971 holden premier hg 3 sp automatic 4d sedan

Seller's Description
HG Premier 308 sedan, trimatic automatic transmission, power steering, 125,000 miles. Original service manual and original rego papers proving engine is original. I am the fourth owner, first was GM-H itself from 29.6.71 until Aug '71, then someone in Balwyn for six months (guessing a GM-H employee) until Feb '72 when it was sold through a GM-H dealer to the guy from whom I bought it 2003. A survivor, but with some work done on the bits that didn't quite make it; repainted in 2005 in a non original colour, (87-92 GMH Cardinal Red instead of the original Burnished Bronze), restitched base on the front seat and new plush pile carpet. Mild modifications as typically done when these cars were worthless; slightly lowered front (original springs supplied), chrome 7" wheels, (originals available but beaten up Premier hubcaps junked long ago), twin exhausts. Drives beautifully, anybody who test drives it might not have the money to buy it, but they will certainly want to drive it home. I am NOT looking for a quick sale. At 66 I know we will down size one day so I’ve been gradually selling some of my cars rather than a panic sale on moving day. It took me nine months to sell a survivor 253 HG station wagon last year and I was happy with that, so if you're a bargain hunter, keep moving. Car is on club plates so at law it is an unregistered vehicle; buyer will be responsible for getting it home. I can drop it at a transport depot in western Melbourne for an interstate buyer after full payment, (worked well for the buyer of the abovementioned wagon). It comes with the original Victorian black and white licence plates if wanted.
