Just arrived - This 1971 Pontiac Grand Prix is something rarely seen on the market. If you're looking for something American but want to be a little bit different and have something rare, this is a wonderful option. This is a third-generation Grand Prix, which was newly revised with single headlights, new bumpers front and rear, and fresh boat-tail styling. For an extra $195, you received the SJ package. This afforded you a 455ci (7.5L) 4-barrel V8, which produced a sweet 260hp. It also came with rally gauges, body-coloured sports mirrors, vinyl accent stripes, SJ badging, and a few extras. This was paired nicely with a 3-speed 'TH400' automatic transmission and luxuries like power steering and air conditioning. Although it is a two-door coupe, you're well-equipped for space inside and can comfortably fit the whole family. Finished in a gorgeous metallic brown that is brilliantly accented by the beige vinyl roof, this car needs to be seen in the flesh because photos cannot do it justice. It is presented in wonderful condition for the age, both inside and out, and is believed to have undergone a restoration at some point in its US life. Its last-known US documentation places the car in Texas, and the documentation with the car demonstrates that the Pontiac was imported to Australia in 2016. Its file follows its Australian history, and shows a large amount of work carried out over the years, including that it has been recently serviced in June 2025. Spacious and comfortable, this is a true cruiser that is ready to get out and about.
