Just arrived - This 1978 Holden HZ Kingswood Station Wagon is a nicely modified example. Purchased in 2016, this HZ began life as a 202ci 6-cylinder with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The project to transform the car into what you see today extended over two years and was completed in 2018. The HZ was fitted with a 253ci V8 and a 4-speed manual transmission. Originally finished in Super Mint Metallic, the car was stripped to bare metal, the windows filled with zinc sheets, and it was resprayed in a striking orange. The interior was also retrimmed, with a custom interior inspired by the panel vans of the same era. The interior is also equipped with a reversing camera, an SAAS steering wheel, and a modern Pioneer radio. The HZ presents fantastically today, and really stands out against the rest.
