I have up for sale my 1979 Monte Carlo. I was doing it up as a replica from the movie 'Training Day' starring Denzel Washington & Ethan Hawke. I have gathered up all the parts needed to do an exact replica, down to the correct wire wheels, white walls & centre nut & including correct bullet snipper knobs, indicators & grille, I will fit the correct grille before it goes. I have also hand-made the chain number plate surrounds, down to the exact amount of links & had them chrome plated. I've even got the exact number plate & colour combo used in the movie. All it needs is someone to paint it black & put it all together. The Monte Carlo has a good running 350 & 3 speed T-bar auto, all brakes are good & work well, the power steering & air-conditioning work well also. I have fitted a new aluminium radiator & aluminium water pump. You could drive it away on a permit, no problems! The body is dead straight & never been in an accident. The boot & rear quarters are clean & completely rust free. However, it has a little rust under the passenger rear window, as shown in the photo, & drivers door has rust in the inner bottom, not outer skin. The Monte Carlo is nearly ready for LO1 compliance certificate. I have already fitted new headlights & changed it to amber indicators, it has side intrusion bars in the doors & it has new tyres. It has all new seatbelts & child restraints they just need to be fitted. It comes with a list of new parts, some already fitted & because the Monte Carlo is over 30 years old, it can be fully registered left-hand drive. It also comes with import approval papers & a certificate of title from the US.
