Just arrived - This 1983 Toyota T18 Liftback is a timepiece. A part of the fourth-generation Corollas, they were marketed in Australia as simply the T-18. The 3-door, semi-pillarless liftback design was the first time Australian Corollas had seen this body shape. Aditionally, a new rear suspension consisting of a 5-link setup, Panhard rod, and coil springs, drastically improved the handling of these little cars. This T-18 is a very original car that has not been restored, and is complete with original books. Powered by the original 1.8L 4-cylinder '3T-C' motor, the T-18 is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a custom sports exhaust. Finished in Light Brown Metallic, the T-18 is showing some aging in the usual areas, though it is in overall tidy condition. The striped bucket seats are in great condition and wonderfully true to the time, while the fitment of a modern Clarion radio brings it to the present. Sitting on a set of Speedy wheels, this would make a wonderful and affordable entry-level classic for those looking to do some tinkering and have plenty of fun in the meantime.
