The 560SL is powered by a 5.6L V8 and a 4-speed automatic transmission. The current owners have possessed the car for the last 16 years and have loved and enjoyed the car. In 2012, it underwent a restoration in which it was completely stripped down. The engine was pulled out and fitted with new engine mounts, a new water pump, front and rear crankshaft seals, valve stem seals, injector seal, and a timing chain, timing chain sprockets, tensioner and guide. In the front end, the 560SL received a new drag link, left and right tie rod assemblies, right and left upper and lower control arms, left and right lower ball joints, a new steering dampener, sway bar link kit, and new bushes all around. The power steering box has been rebuilt, and the car was fitted with a new radiator, exhaust, muffler, EFI distributor, and battery. It was resprayed in its original Blue-Black metallic paint, while the grey leather interior was kept original, and it presents brilliantly. The best of both worlds, this 560SL is a convertible that comes with both a hardtop roof and a new soft top, allowing you to enjoy it in all seasons.
