Setting new standards of ride, handling and luxury the Jaguar XJ range was released as a series one in 1968 and was universally acclaimed as being as good as any car made at that time, with the combination of perfect proportions, a ground breaking ride and all of the luxurious wood and leather that was expected from Jaguar.
Delivered new by Kellow Fawkner Motors on the 4th of May 1988 to a Mrs S Walsh of Gisborne, this is the last incarnation of the series three XJ range, produced in small numbers after the introduction of the XJ40 cars and only in top of the range V12 Sovereign form.
Finished in original colour of ‘Artic Blue’, the Sovereign presents in excellent original condition with all original books and complete tool kit. This beautiful car has obviously been looked after and garaged with an excellent interior featuring Beige ‘Doeskin’ leather trim, wood work free of sun damage or cracks, and working air conditioning.
