It is powered by a 5.7L LS1 V8 and a 6-speed manual, which has since been upgraded with a Harrop HTV1900 Supercharger, fitted by KPM Automotive. Other upgrades include an Ultra-Cool transmission cooler, a Harrop Ultimate brake kit, a Boost pressure gauge, a temperature sensor, a MAF patch loom, MAF sensor, an upgraded belt and pulley kit, an intake pipe and a cold air intake. The VY has also been fitted with a new fuel pump, new valve springs, new push rods, a new front crank seal, and a new radiator. Finished in its original Hot House Green, the VY presents very well for its 23 years of age. The matching green and black interior features an upgraded Kenwood stereo with satellite navigation, Bluetooth connectivity and a reversing camera. Complete with books, spare keys, and a large file documenting everything spent on the vehicle with photos. This wonderfully presented VY has had thousands spent on the upgrades, and is fantastic value for money.
