AUCTION AUSSIE CLASSIC CARS FROM THE CLARE VALLEY at BENNETTS

On an invited trip recently to the Clare Valley Larry Bennett found an amazing collection of Australian classic cars, Holdens and Valiants and where the owners were downsizing property and in need of selling a lifetime hobby collection.  With many to choose from Mr Bennett brought back six of their best for this auction. Star of the show is an immaculate 1970 Holden HG Premier with the optional brocade trim, excellent paintwork and only 86,000 miles travelled. Also a stunning 1975 HJ GTS Monaro matching number 253 V8 model with books and receipts and perfect paint and trim. In the Valiant section we have a rare 1969 VF Regal Coupe with the houndstooth trim option and vinyl roof. With around 40 lots of collectables, memorabilia, SLR Toranas, Valiants, Mustangs, Corvettes, VW Kombi, Camaro and some classic motor bikes, Triumph, Kawasaki, BSA etc. makes it a day with something for all wallets on Saturday. In postscript, I must point out and sad to say that due to the purchaser of the 427 Corvette sudden health collapse we have been instructed by his family to resubmit the fabulous muscle car to this auction.
