Chromefest invite you to come and enjoy a tribute to American classics, hot rods, rock ‘n’ roll and rockabilly with over 600 show cars and lowriders on display.
The three-day festival takes place at The Entrance, Central Coast and has something for everyone, no matter the age!
Expect to see American Cars (including Classics, Customs & Muscle Cars), Hot Rods, Low Riders and even classic Caravans & Kombis.
ChromeFest is also home to the BIGGEST Lowrider meet in the country where all clubs and solo riders unite from all over Australia to showcase the Lowrider scene and lifestyle.
Another highlight of the event is the twilight cruise which takes place on Saturday from 5.00pm around The Entrance.
If you think you have a car worthy of showing, head here to register.... However, this event isn’t just for you revheads! There’s plenty to see and do for the whole family!
Music: Bigger than ever - this year there are four stages for you to enjoy the best rockabilly and rock ‘n’ roll Australia has to offer.
We have over thirteen music acts performing this year including a tribute artist from The Parkes Elvis artist, The Aston Martinis and headliner Ezra Lee and band.
Ezra Lee will be performing on the Sunday at ChromeFest as well as at an exclusive ticketed event on Friday 24 October at the Mingara Recreation Club, Tumbi Umbi. Ezra Lee and band are an internationally renowned band originating from Tamworth. Not to be missed, tickets are $30. Please contact 0414 938 623 for more information and to purchase tickets.
Vintage makeover workshops: are you a hair or makeup lover? Or perhaps desperate to learn?
Book in for a special Kittens and Chrome two hour workshop with Viva La Vintage and Miss Absolutely Alice for a makeup, hair, posing and mini photoshoot (for bookings contact Carmen on 0410 111 699).
Head to the Set and Brush Out Workshop to learn how to style your hair from the best! (Bookings essential, head to missvictoryviolet.com/shop).
Dancing: If you love to dance, you will have LOADS of opportunities to boogie to the live music throughout the entire event. Keep an eye out for The Sydney Swing Katz, they will keep you entertained with their amazing dance routines.
The Sydney Swing Katz is one of Australia’s premier swing dancing troupes. Their spectacular and extravagant floorshows replicate the dance styles done in the '20's, '30's, '40's and '50's. They are SURE to get you to your feet and dancing!
New to ChromeFest 2019:
This year ChromeFest will debut ‘The Old Tin Shed’: All the way from Queensland, the Fresh Stylz Lowrider car club will be on site sharing some interesting facts on all things Lowrider.
Some things to do in the old tin shed:
- Quiz the experts from the Fresh Stylz Lowrider car club
- Visit the El Reaper Barbers for a fresh new cut
- Look at the Hot Rod artwork by The Rustees team
- Dance along with The Flattrakkers on Saturday and The Rattlesnakes on Sunday
ChromeFest will also be debuting Custom Corral: This new area presented by Californian Cruisin Inc and sponsored by Shannons Insurance will have lots to see and do.
Some things to do at the Custom Corral:
- Explore the trade stalls
- Listen to music by DJ Marty and guest speakers sharing their stories and experiences
- Look out for the Shannons Marquee
Make sure to give yourself enough time to explore the retro market and food stalls as well!
