What is the Muscle Car Masters?

The Muscle Car Masters, which is now in its 13th year, celebrates our country’s Muscle Car heritage and the drivers who raced them – and continue to race them!

MCM is a race down memory lane for those that grew up spending the October long weekend viewing the Great Race on TV or spectating trackside on Mount Panorama.

As a return to the gutsy glory days of Bathurst, the MCM is a horsepower heaven for motorsport fans! Unlike other motorsport events, fans can get up close to the machinery and chat with the drivers and their mechanics.

Categories for the 2018 event include Heritage Touring Cars (Group C & A), Historic Touring Cars (Nb/Nc), National Sports Sedans, Kumho V8 Touring Cars, Historic Sports Cars (Group S), the Trans Am 2 Series (TA2), and two speed events: the Master Blasts, which return for their second year, and MC HammerTime, for precious metal thet needs to be hammered but too precious to race!

Off track, the paddock will again be full of colour and action, with feature displays and tributes, nods to the big muscle car anniversaries of 2018, a meet-and-greet session with legend race drivers, the huge annual show n’ shine, and merchandise alley.

Spectators are admitted free of charge to the competitor’s paddock and undercover grandstand, and kids 15 and under are also free. Online tickets are now on sale!
