Volkswagen has celebrated the tenth anniversary of the Volkswagen New Beetle. Launched onto the market in January 1998, the vehicle, which is built exclusively inMexico for markets all over the world, has now sold over 1 million units.

The Mexico plant has now built over 7 million Volkswagens which are sold in over 100 countries.
