1967 Mustang "Flashback"
Considering the amount of companies that both Ford, CDC and Dynacorn would have had access to, it's testimony to the quality of their components that RRS were selected to supply all the suspension, steering and braking products for the Flashback. Up front, the car wears the latest RRS strut & brake package, which includes a radial tyre-ready steering knuckle that dovetails with the RRS Superior Power rack & pinion steering. The 14" front & 13" rear brakes are wrapped in RRS's sleek, yet powerful six piston caliper system.
RRS also equipped the Flashback with their special shock tower notching kit and under-dash booster assembly. Flashback also features RRS-developed 3-link rear suspension, a setup that offers near-IRS handling precision without the IRS wheel hop penalty. With such innovative components, like the Revelation Racing Supplies gear, all wrapped in an attractive body, it's little wonder that the Flashback Mustang won first prize for "Outstanding Achievement in Design" at SEMA.
