2013 French Car Festival preview
If Peugeot, Renault, Citroen, or even Delage, Delahaye, Bugatti, Simca or Matra float your boat, you'll need to get close to the 'boats' this October 20, as the annual Victorian French Car Festival will be held at Williamstown's 'Seaworks' waterfront facility for the first time.
Presented by the Renault Car Club of Victoria, this year's French Car Festival is set to be the biggest in the local event's history, with undercover and open air car displays, raffles, trade stalls, live music, cooking demonstrations with Gabriel Gate, and more - in fact a true festival of everything French and four - and two - wheels.
As part of a packed program of activities, there will also be car detailing demos, specialty French car service businesses, wine tastings, a special French gift shop, plus a few surprises.
In addition to the usual Show n Shine for classics and historics, there will also be displays of the latest Peugeot, Citroen and Renault vehicles. Victoria's French Consul will present the show n shine trophies.
Fletch from 'Classic Restos' will also be there on the day, filming content for a future episode.
All French car owners and enthusiasts are invited, with interstate visitors welcome, too. Trailer parking on site will be available for those trailering their vehicles to the event. Vehicle entry is only $10, with public entry by gold coin donation.
