2013 Geelong Revival sprint entries close soon

If you're looking to get your suitable car into the waterfront sprints that feature over both days of the Revival, get in quick - CAR sprint entries close on MONDAY, OCTOBER 21.
(MOTORCYCLE sprint entries close on November 11).

In the spirit of the Geelong Speed Trials that first ran in 1956, the Geelong Revival features timed sprint runs over Ritchie Boulevard's unique curved course, with up to 300 street and track machines, from the earliest veterans to more recent Group A Touring Cars, in action. Production Sports Cars, F5000, Formula Ford, Formula Vee, specials and more will also be part of the action, as well as motorcycles.

While the waterfront sprints are the weekend's main attraction, they're only part of the story. A massive static display of classic, collectable, race and performance vehicles will see up to 500 display cars and motorcycles stretch from Eastern Beach to Cunningham Pier.

There will also be a Motor Expo with trade stands, live music, a fashion parade, food, market stalls, pre-event tour, kid's activities, gala dinner and more.

Pack a picnic and take the family to the ideal viewing area on the grass bank adjacent to Ritchie Boulevard, or you can wander the length of the sprint course to see the start, middle and finish of each timed sprint run.

Public entry is free, but to get up close to the action, you can purchase a pit pass for just $10 each day ($5 concession), with VIP options also available, from $139/person, to put you up close to the action.

For the total Geelong Revival experience, the special Gala Dinner and 'Ultimate Package' are also available, but tickets for both these elements are limited. See the website, or contact the event organisers for further details.
