Abarth unveil livery for 2014 Bathurst 12 Hour
The bold racing colour scheme was unveiled in Melbourne just prior to Christmas, with the livery tapping into Abarth's competition heritage.
Abarth's traditional red and yellow colours are dominant, with the Italian 'tricolore' of green, white and red represented by lightning bolts. Naturally, Abarth logos and branding are prominent for the factory-backed effort.
The distinctive colours will extend to the drivers' overalls, helmets, support vehicles and race team uniforms. Melbourne-based signwriting firm Brushes Signarts applied the dynamic scheme.
In addition to the race cars, a fully-livery Abarth display car will also make appearances at dealerships across the country in the lead up to the February event.
Abarth Motorsport will enter two Abarth 695 Assetto Corse racecars in the Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12 Hour with full factory team support and the input of motorsport preparation specialist Alan Heaphy and his Performance Parts & Engineering (PPE) outfit.
