Accessories range for VF Commodore released

The Design Packs start with the 'stage one exterior appearance package,' which includes colour-matched upper and lower grille surrounds in red or black, black daylight running lamp surrounds (SS V-Series models) and black fender vents.

The stage two Design Pack adds track stripes, alloy sports pedals, sports carpet floor mats, colour-matched mirror caps, sports engine cover with red accents (V8 models only) and black lip spoiler (sedan only).
Stage three adds four HF-20 20 inch forged alloy wheels* in Midnight Dark Grey or a machine faced Gunmetal Gloss and 245/35 ZR20 High Performance tyres.

Holden Marketing Manager Kristian Aquilina said the new VF Commodore provides a great canvas for customers to personalise and augment the looks, functionality and performance of their Holden.

"We've always led the market in engineering options for personalisation. The new Design Packs build on this and offer a range of accessories to enhance the striking performance looks of Commodore. The range allows owners to make a strong statement with their VF," he said.

"We've enjoyed some great success with limited edition sports models like the G8-inspired Holden SS V-Series Special Edition, and we learnt from what our customers told us - understated sports styling elements like the slimline boot lid spoiler were really well received."

While the accessories are designed to look good, they also undergo rigorous engineering testing to cope with Australia's unique environment and road conditions.

Holden Engineering Manager for Accessories Keegan Brown said all genuine Holden Accessories go through exhaustive durability testing to ensure their longevity and quality.

"We understand our customers' cars are their pride and joy. Protecting the condition of their asset is very important to them, which is why we've developed new accessories to help customers maintain the showroom condition of their VF Commodore," he said.

"For example, Holden's three-piece sports armour is a kit that is fixed to the front fascia to protect it from every day wear and tear like carpark and kerb damage.

"Our track stripes are also carefully designed to ensure UV protection and long term weather resistance, so they'll look as good as the day you bought them."
