Another Great Day at the Tenth Leongatha Show N Shine and Swap Meet and Market
The Swap Meet opened at 6.00am & people seemed to enjoying the leafy setting. The Show and Shine entries started to arrive from 8.00am and the quality of the exhibits were outstanding. Overall our judges had a busy time judging 28 separate categories, each category received a Meguiars gift and a very nice glass trophy. 10 categories were dedicated to motorcycles. Gill Trease of Leongatha won The Traralgon Harley Davidson Trophy for "Best American Iron".
Les Dole picked up two trophies with his Indian Scout for "Shannons' Motorcycle of the Show" and "Best Classic Pre 1980". The quality and variety of cars was amazing. Shaun Humphrey & his Chev Ute had a great day winning "Best Commercial Ute Van or Wagon", "Meguiars Best Paint Job" and "Meguiars Best Engine Bay". He then cleaned up with "Shannons Entry of the show". Chazz Hart and his Falcon won the "Best Street Machine" plus "Best Custom Vehicle"! The International Harvester 1910 Auto Wagon of Stuart and Sue Landry turned out to be an stunning crowd favorite. The quality of the judging was excellent, congratulations to Jim McNiven who led the judging team. The event was well run and the presentations were on time. Pinky McKay Australia's Leading motor show commentator kept the crowd entertained.
