Armor All increases Supers Eseries support
Armor All already sponsor the pole position award in the online racing series - the ‘Armor All Ultra Pole Position’ – but effective from Round 2 of the 10-round series, the driver who finishes the round with the most points will also receive the ‘Armor All Round Winner’ award.
The winning driver will receive $1,000, donated by Armor All to the winner’s preferred charity.
“Armor All car care products stand for high quality and performance, just like Supercars and we are really excited to see racing come to life for viewers at home,” said Marianne Arenas, Head of Energizer ANZ Marketing.
“The Armor All brand has a long and proud history in motorsport and the Supercars Armor All Round Winner award is a great initiative for the Eseries.
“There’s a number of charities out there doing great things in the community at a time when many people are doing it tough, so we are very proud to be able to contribute to their efforts in some way through this award.”
One of the longest serving major sponsors of Supercars, Armor All became the Official Car Care Products Sponsor for the category in 2005. The company has also sponsored the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Pole Position Award for the past 17 years.
Through Armor All Qualifying, Armor All Pole Position awards, Armor All Top 10 Shootout awards and Armor All Races for the Grid, prize money exceeding $1 million has been awarded.
Launched on 8 April, the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries is being held each Wednesday evening until 10 June, with the online racing broadcast live from 7:00pm AEST on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, Sky Sports (NZ) and 10 Play.
