ASTON MARTIN RACING ‘WINGS’ SET

One for the real Aston Martin aficionado, the Aston Martin Racing replica ‘wing’ collection has been released to celebrate Aston Martin’s 2016 season in the World Endurance Championship, where the British manufacturer finished just behind Ferrari in the GT Manufacturer’s Cup, but team drivers Nicki Thiim and Marco Sorensen won the Drivers’ title.

Handcrafted by jewellery specialist Vaughtons and limited to just 249 sets worldwide, each set consists of nine replicas of the wings logo that graces the Aston Martin Vantage GTE endurance racers. Each wing is enamelled in the national colours of the country where each round of last year’s nine-round championship took place.

Each individual wing takes around 20 hours to produce, using a combination of modern CAD equipment and age-old jeweller’s machinery.

Individually-numbered, each set also comes mounted on clean white board in a recessed, glass-fronted frame.
