Aston Martin Rapide. Nov 09
The first four door Aston Martin since the '60s and '70s, this performance "family" car, delivers 350kW of power and 600Nm of torque from its 6.0-litre V12 engine, to complete the 0-100km/h sprint in close to 5 seconds.
The Rapide arrives in Australia next year, with an expected price around $450,000, or 10 percent less than the current DBS coupe.
The Rapide was first shown as a concept at Detroit in 2006 and is the first car developed by Aston Martin under David Richards since he and other investors bought the company from Ford in 2007.
V12 Vantage
Based on the hugely successful V8 Vantage, the V12 Vantage features a 6.0-litre V12 engine producing 380 kW and 570 Nm of torque with a top speed of 305 km/h and 0-100 km/h time of 4.2 seconds.
Visually enticing, the V12 Vantage expresses its performance potential through its purposeful stance created by enhanced aerodynamic and cooling aids optically widening the car, while retaining traditional understated Aston Martin design. Deliveries of the V12 Vantage began in July, with pricing starting at $253,758.
