Brad Jones Racing to switch to Toyota for 2026 Supercars
Following Walkinshaw Andretti United’s announcement that they will be the homologation team for Toyota’s entry into Supercars Championship next season, it’s been confirmed that Brad Jones Racing (BJR) will be the second team to run the GR Supra in 2026.

Founded in 2000 and racing GM vehicles since 2008, BJR will field four GR Supras next year in a driver lineup that’s still to be confirmed. Currently, BJR runs Andre Heimgartner (R&J Batteries Racing #8), Bryce Fullwood (Mr. Umami Racing #14), Jaxon Evans (SCT Motorsport #12) and Macauley Jones (Pizza Hut Racing #96) in Chevrolet Camaro ZL1s.

“This is a massive moment in the history of BJR,” said team owner and founder, Brad Jones. “I am very excited for what the future holds and to work closely with Toyota.
“This type of upheaval is not a light decision to make and I've taken my time in doing so, but I've been reassured time and time again that this is the right direction for BJR.
“I cannot wait to see our team roll-out four GR Supras in 2026, it's going to be a 'pinch me' moment.”

Toyota Australia Vice President Sales, Marketing and Franchise Operations Sean Hanley said he was thrilled to bring BJR on board as the second team to race the GR Supra supercar.
“We are incredibly excited to announce our new partnership with Brad Jones Racing, which has been a dedicated part of the Supercars scene for the last quarter of a century,” Hanley said.
“When I first met Brad and his team, I was very impressed by their operation and the depth of experience the whole team has, as well as their commitment to fostering racing talent which aligns strongly with the Toyota Gazoo Racing approach to motorsport.”

Partly designed here in Australia, the GR Supra that BJR and WAU will race in 2026 is powered by an all-aluminium quad-cam V8 that’s already been proven in production models and motorsport, including the 2010 Dakar-winning HiLux.
More details on the GR Supra supercar and BJR’s lineup for 2026 will be revealed closer to the start of the season.
