Bugatti Veryron
With a top speed of more than 400 km/h and a price tag of $2.7 million, the Veyron is a serious supercar that makes competitors look slow and inexpensive by comparison.
The supercar was developed by Volkswagen which owns the Italian company.
Only 300 Veyrons are being built, which ensures this will remain a very exclusive car club.
Its specifications are breathtaking. With a top speed of 407 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 2.5 seconds - it can do the 0-200km/h run in just 7.3 seconds.
It is powered by a 16-cylinder 8-litre quad turbo which produces a massive 736kW/1250Nm, which transmits to all four wheels through a seven-speed sequential automatic transmission.
It uses clever aerodynamic aids to keep the car on the ground, with a huge rear spoiler deploying at high speed - it also doubles as an air brake beyond 200 km/h. The air brake is activated by the brake pedal and sends the spoiler up at a 55 degree angle in 4 seconds. Powerful ceramic brakes pull the car up from 100 - 0km/h in just 2.3 seconds.
