Night 1, on Monday 16th March, will see the first lot go under the hammer at the bidder-friendly time of 6:00pm AEDT. Night 2 (Tuesday 17th March) also kicks off from 6:00pm AEDT, and Night 3 (Wednesday 18th March) commences from 6:00pm AEDT.
The new addition for March is a Timed Online Quality Parts & Accessories auction. Online only, bidding on this auction closes from 6.00pm AEDT on Thursday 19th March
As always with these auctions, you can bid online, on the phone, through absentee bidding forms or in person at Burns & Co’s auction rooms – 4 Market Drive, Bayswater, 3153 – each live night.
NOTE: There is no in-person bidding at Burns & Co’s Newcastle/Central Coast premises.

Headlining the March auction is a truly special Australian muscle car – a genuine 1969 Ford XW Falcon GT-HO Phase I. With remarkable provenance, just over 28,000 miles showing and coming from long-term ownership, this is the kind of car collectors rarely see on the market, presenting as a genuine time capsule.
Ford performance is a major feature across the Burns & Co. March auction, with a strong mix of desirable and accessible classics. These include a 2014 Falcon GT-F, 1970 XW GT-HO tribute, and a range of collector favourites, including a 1982 XE Fairmont Ghia ESP 302 V8 manual, 2015 FGX Falcon XR8 Boss 335 manual, 2006 FPV BF MkII F6 Typhoon, and a 1975 XB Fairmont V8 sedan.

Holden fans are well catered for, too, with two standout Group A icons set to draw strong attention – a 1985 HDT VK SS Group A ‘Blue Meanie’ (Build No. 114) and a 1990 HSV VN SS Group A (Build No. 147). The Holden lineup also includes a 2000 HSV VX GTS manual sedan and 2012 HSV VE Senator LS3. All represent key eras of Holden performance and remain highly sought after among collectors.
The Holden lineup extends beyond performance into a strong spread of classics and nostalgia pieces, from a 1977 LX Torana SL/R 5000 tribute, 1977 LH Torana SL/R, 1989 HSV VN SV5000 and 1993 VR Commodore V8 ute, to a survivor-spec 1952 Holden 48-215 sedan and a string of other Special sedans - 1966 HR, 1964 EH, 1961 EK, and 1959 FC. Additionally, there’s an ex-SA Police 1979 HZ Kingswood, near-original 1970 HG Premier sedan, three FJ panel van projects (all unreserved), a 1959 FC panel van reimagined as a 2-door wagon, 2013 VF SS Redline ute, and a full custom 2007 Holden VE SS ute that’s a Summernats trophy winner and Street Machine feature car.

Beyond Aussie muscle and classics, the March catalogue offers variety across multiple segments.
American highlights include a 1966 Ford Mustang fastback V8 manual, 1951 Chevrolet Styleline ‘woody’ wagon, 1955 Ford Thunderbird convertible, a fully rebuilt 1972 Chevrolet C10 pickup with a 350 V8, 1967 Buick Skylark convertible and a 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 4x4 pickup.
Japanese and European vehicles are also well represented, with standout entries including a 1973 Datsun 240Z manual, 1980 Toyota Celica, 1980 BMW 735i sedan, 1969 VW Type 3 1600 wagon, 2000 BMW 535i E39 V8, 2001 Porsche 911 convertible, and a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C63S AMG 4.0 V8.

For those who appreciate British classics, the mix includes a 1949 MG TC roadster, 1969 MG Midget, 1968 MGB GT, 1946 Jaguar MkV saloon, 1959 Jaguar XK150 FHC, 1983 Jaguar Sovereign Series III, and a 1954 Austin-Healey 100M tribute – a standout entry offering classic open-top motoring appeal.
Workhorse and utility vehicles also feature, from a highly desirable 1979 Toyota LandCruiser HJ45 diesel manual ute and 1986 FJ60 wagon, to a selection of classic utes and panel vans. There’s also a strong selection of motorcycles and memorabilia.
And don’t forget the dedicated Timed Online Auction that closes on 19 March. This features over 100 lots of parts, manuals and hard-to-find automotive items.

Early inspection and pre-bidding is encouraged ahead of auction week, with the full catalogue available now and pre-bidding open ahead of the live auction on Monday 16, Tuesday 17 and Wednesday 18 March, 2026, with the first lot offered from 6.00pm AEDT each night. The Timed Online auction (no live bidding) of quality parts and accessories closes Thursday 19 March.
