Camaro SSX Track Car

Especially built for the LA Motor Show, the high performance concept car is equipped with accessory parts available from Chevrolet. Its standout red jewel colour is accentuated with grey heritage stripes and 21-inch wheels. Under the bonnet there is an accessory air intake kit, and out the back the accessory exhaust kit. It is powered by a 6.2-litre V8 with Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission.
The Camaro SSX Track Car is a concept for transforming a street Camaro SS into a closed course track car. Like the Red Flash, the SSX has a modified suspension, body enhancements including carbon fibre aero parts - front splitter and adjustable rear wing - revised lower grille and unique brake cooling ducts. Inside carpet and sound deadening material has been removed, as has the back seat. There is also a roll cage, racing driver's seat with five-point harness, racing pedals and fire suppression system.
