Did you know that the first electric windshield wiper and the windshield washer system we all take for granted today are Bosch innovations? The latest addition to this long list are the Bosch 'Micro Edge' wiper blades that can be fitted to most vehicles.

Featuring patented dual-rubber technology that maintains wiping edge flexibility at all temperatures, Bosch claim their Micro Edge wipers offer optimal function and performance. The addition of a universal Quick-Clip adaptor (to fit both hook and pin-style wipers) enables Micro Edge wiper blades to suit almost any vehicle application.

The dual-rubber compound of the Micro Edge features a 'hard' rubber (3) precision cut blade on the wiping edge (5) to give superior contact to the glass, while a smooth graphite coating (4) eliminates gaps and flaws in the rubber edge for perfect cleaning. The spine of the Micro Edge (1) features a softer rubber for reduced noise and even sweep, while an embedded 'tension strip' (2) ensures even direct pressure along the length of the wiper edge, eliminating the 'loose' ends common to some other wiper blades.

Bosch Micro Edge wiper blades and refills are now available at most auto parts retailers.
