The Dodge Circuit Electric EV concept is an exciting sportscar that boasts a range of 240 to 322 kms with zero petrol consumption or emissions. Chrysler's ENVI powered electric vehicles utilise three components. These include an electric motor to drive the wheels, an advanced lithium-ion battery system to power the electric drive motor, and a controller that manages energy flow. The Range extended option combines a small petrol engine and integrated electric generator to produce additional energy to power the electric drive when needed.

This provides the attributes of an electric vehicle with the driving range of a traditional petrol powered vehicle - with no compromises in performance.
