Entries open for 2014 Motorclassica car auction
Billed as the most prestigious car auction in the Southern Hemisphere, the Theodore Bruce sale will be held on the evening of October 25, as part of the 2014 RACV Motorclassica event at Melbourne's Royal Exhibition Building, and is expected to attract a diverse selection of rare and desirable cars, covering all eras of motoring.
Last year's auction saw total sales in excess of $2.1 million, with the highlights being $757,550 for a rare RHD 1968 Lamborghini Miura (believed to be a world-record auction result for this model ), while the very first Holden built in Australia, a 1947 prototype 48-215, sold for $668,750, close to the best-ever auction price achieved by an Australian-made car.
Entries are limited to approximately thirty cars only, so potential consignors are advised to contact Theodore Bruce quickly. Call (02) 8212 4100, email: [email protected], or go to: www.theodorebruceauctions.com.au for further details and to arrange a confidential assessment of your vehicle.
