Extra BRZs coming
Nick Senior, Managing Director, Subaru Australia, said: "We're delighted that Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) has recognized the enormous demand for BRZ in Australia and allocated additional production."
Since the July 2012 launch, which was unique insofar as it was done exclusively online, the BRZ has been a runaway success. Subaru's initial allocation of 201 cars to the end of 2012 sold-out after just three hours after going "live".
Prior to FHI's extra allocation, the back orders were through to November 2013, but Mr Senior says all customers from May next year can expect an improvement in their car's estimated delivery time.
The BRZ National Driveaway Price starts at $37,150, and includes a three-year/60,000 kilometre scheduled service plan and a five-star ANCAP occupant safety rating.
Full Ts & Cs on the BRZ's pricing, service plan, availability and ordering can be accessed online from subaru.com.au, or directly from www.buybrzonline.subaru.com.au Customers can also check their vehicle progress online to view estimated time of arrival.
