Ferrari GTOs by the bunch
The five 250 GTOs are currently consigned for restoration with Ferrari's own heritage department, the Ferrari Classiche. With more than 60 ground-up restorations completed, the rapid growth of this element of Ferrari's business operations reflects the level of trust placed in it by the owners of these highly valuable cars.
Recent refurbishment of the Ferrari Classiche department facilities now allow up to 24 vehicles to be worked on at once. In addition to the five 250 GTOs, Ferrari Classiche are also working on two 250 Testa Rossas, including the 1957 car that Phil Hill drove to victory at the 1958 Le Mans 24 Hour, as well as three of the 32 250 LMs produced.
In addition to their restoration services, Ferrari Classiche have also processed over 3800 authentication certification applications for original cars, including more than 20 Australian Ferraris and eight in New Zealand.
