Fiat 500 ‘Dolcevita’ arrives
Based on the 500C Club convertible, the Dolcevita Special Edition is only available in Gelato White with an all-around red/white/red body stripe and matching diamond-finished 16-inch white alloy wheels.
Chrome mirror caps and a Dolcevita script badge at the rear are other special touches, but the unique feature of this special edition is the soft top, which is finished in blue and white stripes, evoking classic beachside umbrellas and sun lounges. The ‘500’ logo also graces this folding fabric top.
Inside, further unique touches include a timber dashboard and Frau ivory leather seats with red piping and the 500 logo embroidered on the uprights. A set of Dolcevita-branded floor mats complete the package.
“The Fiat 500C Dolcevita Special Edition brings a new level of sophistication to the distinctive Italian icon,” says Guillaume Drelon, Director, Brand and Product Strategy, Fiat and Alfa Romeo. “Retaining the fun and charming personality of the Fiat 500, the Dolcevita and its enchanting colour palette and classy design makes this a beautiful addition that truly lives up to its name.”
Powered by the 500C Club’s standard 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine, matched to the Dualogic self-changing 5-speed manual transmission, the 500C Dolcevita Special Edition delivers maximums of 51kW and 102Nm, a 160km/h top speed and fuel economy of 4.8lt/100km.
Only 30 units of the Dolcevita Special Edition will be released in Australia, priced from $30,750 (+ ORCs); a premium of $3,500 over the 500C Club it’s based on, but adding a claimed $4,400 of extra value.
