Formula 1 Exhibition coming to Melbourne
Following successful runs in Madrid, Vienna, Toronto, Buenos Aires, London and Amsterdam, the Formula 1 Exhibition will make its Asia-Pacific debut in Melbourne this November. To be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, the exhibition opens on 29 November, 2025 and runs through to 19 April, 2026, so it’ll be open during next year’s Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix on 6-8 March, 2026.

Presented by Sony Music and TEG Experiences, this internationally-renowned, award-winning exhibition will present Formula 1 cars and memorabilia from the breadth of the sport’s history, provided by teams like McLaren, Red Bull and Mercedes AMG, as well as Formula 1 partners. The design and engineering of F1 will also be showcased, highlighted by the remains of Romain Grosjean’s burnt-out Haas-Ferrari VF-20, along with his boots and gloves from that dramatic 2020 Bahrain crash.

There will also be archival video footage, interviews and other content. Interactive installations, activities and state-of-the-art driving simulators will allow fans to get hands-on with Formula 1.
The Melbourne exhibition will also present brand-new and exclusive material highlighting Australia’s contribution to F1, its legendary drivers and the significance of the Albert Park circuit.

“Every time Formula 1 comes to Melbourne, we feel the passion for the sport throughout this amazing city, so it’s only fitting for it to be the destination for the first F1 Exhibition show in Asia-Pacific,” said Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1. “The Exhibition celebrates the sport’s rich history and Australia’s outstanding contribution to Formula 1. I’m really excited for fans to go on an incredible, immersive journey through our sport’s most memorable moments.”
